Department of Physical Education & Sports Sciences
The Department offers excellent facilities for numerous games such as Archery, Athletics, Basketball, Volleyball, Chess, Football, Judo, Korfball, Netball, Powerlifting, Taekwondo and Body-building etc. In addition, the students have regularly participated in Inter-University and Inter-College sport events, and have displayed their talent by bagging a number of laurels for their alma mater, over the years, the details of which are included in this report. Furthermore, the students are also encouraged to pursue their dreams by competing at the State, National and International levels. Ramjas College was also chosen as one of the practice venues for teams participating in the Delhi Commonwealth Games, 2010. In a bid to actively follow and emulate our ‘Sports for All’ belief, the Department also encourages our differently-abled students and regularly hosts events for them.
