Introduction
The Department of Physical Education is one of the very active and dynamic Departments of the Ramjas College. Students are admitted on the basis of proficiency in sports in various courses offered by the College. The students are encouraged to participate in various games at Zonal, Inter-Zonal district, National and International level. The Department offers excellent facilities for games such as Foot-Ball, Volley-Ball, Lawn-Tennis, Table-Tennis, Cricket, Badminton, and Archery. The students participate in various games at the University and Inter-University level.Our students have won many prizes in the field of sports. The Departments also invites experts in Judo and Yoga to teach these arts to the students.
Our college has been chosen as one of the venue of Commonwealth Games to be held in 2010 in Delhi. Infrastructural facilities for the sports of Rugby are being established in the college premises.
