The Department of Zoology offers B.Sc (Hons) Zoology, B.Sc (Prog) Life Sciences and General Elective discipline papers that allow students to pursue specific interests in animal biology. The subject papers provide students a broad exposure to the essentials of evolution, anatomy, physiology, behavior, habitats, and health of animals and humans. The acquaintance about the multidisciplinary areas of Cell and Molecular biology, Biochemistry, Medical Diagnostics, Immunology, Genetics, Ecology and Environmental sciences benefit the students to explore the various aspects of scientific aptitude through practical, internship, research projects and training programmes.
