School of Foreign & Indian Languages (SFIL)

"Every student has to pursue a regular course of study with a specific choice of subjects."

The school of foreign & Indian Languages was instituted in Ramjas College in 2004, in response to the perception that knowledge of a foreign language offered increased opportunities for both employment and education. Ramjas College wished to provide a centre for quality learning of foreign languages at affordable rates, primarily to its students and also others who may be interested in Languages. In addition, it sought to provide students with exposure to the respective cultures through films, music, dance and cultural events organised by the related Embassies and Cultural Centres.

All One Year Part-Time Diploma and Certificate Courses are conducted in collaboration with the Department of Germanic & Romance Studies and Department of East Asian Studies, University of Delhi.
