NCC (National cadet corps) is a tri-services organization comprising the Army, Navy and Air-force, engaged in grooming the youth- ‘The Leaders for tomorrow’- into disciplined and patriotic citizens. The genesis of the NCC can be traced back to the first word-war when the Britishers created the University corps as the second line of defense and to have a large pool of trained youth for employment in the Armed forces. After Independence under the ministry of defense NCC came in to existence on 16 April 1948. The aim of the NCC is to develop Charter, discipline, leadership, spirit of Adventure and ideals of selfless service amongst the youth of the country. Ramjas College is going to start NCC wing (Both female and male) from this year. The college has facilities for NCC training for male and female cadets..
